This is the end...

Ok, that title is a bit overly dramatic.

This site is to help parents and caretakers who have a child or a loved one who was sexually assaulted find support and to let them know that they are not alone and that they are not to blame. And based on the number of people who have reached out, I think its been successful. No one really understands the unique pain of a parent of a survivor like another parent of a survivor.

But I also felt that I needed a place to shoot my mouth off and get some things off my chest, that may not be appropriate for this site so I started a Substack account. It's kinda like a blog but instead of being on an individual website, its a huge collection of blogs.

I have decided to stop updating my blog here and just focus on posting on Substack. I have found that its a bit cathartic to share the crap filling my head. Maybe it connects with someone, maybe not. I am ok with either, but it's really for me. I don't think people are coming to this site to hear me spout off so I think this is a better use of the valuable real estate that is the internet (yes, thats a joke.)
